Recap: Canada East Equip 2022

WOWSER what a great Equip, man o man, exciting, tiring, fulfilling, touching, exhilarating, refreshed, awesome are some of the adjectives to describe our Equip.

Often people ask, when we start advertising in regards to the “Equip”, “What is an Equip?” Great question, however we have so often dumbed it down to “well it’s like a conference. Now the skeleton, is similar to a conference, however as it was brought home during our latest Equip; November 17-19 2022. An Equip has more to do with heartfelt inner workings, a slow drip, for a future slow release if you will. It is never intended for a feed me, and then that was a great meal concept. It has its roots embedded in Biblical patterns.

He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things. And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:10-12

The entire focus is for the saints to be equipped to go and do the ministry of Jesus, and that the body will be built up, into Maturity and Unity. It goes without saying that at the centre of the Equip; all of our being is geared towards adoration of Jesus, lifting up His name and declaring honour and glory to Him.

The spins off’s are dining room fellowship, churches from near and far gathering together, standing shoulder to shoulder, making new friends, establishing connections made a while ago, separated by distances. Cheering one another on, making declarations of His kingdom. Advance, Advance, Advance.

What a glorious time it was to connect again after a forced absence, it was great to see so many people from far and wide, coming together to honour our King. It was amazing to see how some of the children had grown and were taking their place in the Equip.

Church families from all over Canada, USA and South Arica gathered together to fulfill Acts 2:42 in person, heart, body and soul.  The collective diverse gift of the Apostolic team, on display for the Equipping of the Saints, was evident.  What a glorious moment in time, as we sang His praises, ate at His Table and prophesied from His mouth to our ears.

Again well done to all at the Bridge, who worked tirelessly to make this Equip a great experience. Many people sang your praises of a well done Equip.

Our hearts are full and our cup runneth over.
