The Bridge Family Camp 2022

We’re Back !!!!!!

Ephesians 3:14… I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.

June is ‘Bridge Family Camp’; what a great time to slip away from the grind of the city and breath in some fresh air. Get rid of the last frosties of winter, open the windows, stand in the sunshine and inhale deeply.

We know the old saying “a family that prays together stays together”; having spent a few years as part of my childhood in family camps and now latterly at our family camps I can add a few more like “a family that eats together stays together”.

One again the meals provided did not disappoint, and were a credit to the Fair Havens staff that served us so well

This year we welcomed Dan and Kate Page, from Anchor City Church, with Isaiah, Madelaine and Eli, to inspire us, as we let down our hair in the wide open space of family camp atmosphere.

I love Paul’s heart for family unity when he speaks to young Timothy.

1 Timothy 1:2 To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

As we gathered together at camp this was the expression of our heart, may grace and peace from our Father abound. We came “Expectant” not only to receive but to give……

The Theme for this year was “Living Supernaturally” a weekend, body of truth, of epic proportion with revelatory truth from God’s word, challenging us to move from the Natural to the Supernatural. Commencing with a deep revelation, that to be able to live Supernaturally, we need to understand the Privilege, The Price and the Benefits of the finished work of the cross, culminating on Sunday, with two questions.

[i]. How Do We Walk Out Our Life Supernaturally ?

[ii]. How Do We Impart This Supernatural Life to Others?

Holy Spirit came in power as we joined together to pray together, worship together, and play together. Healings of physical, spiritual and emotional were evident by the testimonies given… Praise God

What an amazing time was had by all, it was a feast in every conceivable way. A full-bodied time of worship from beginning to end.

The privilege of lake baptisms on Saturday afternoon, as a number of youngsters took their stand to openly declare their love, faith and adoration for their Lord and master, a wonderful expression of death and resurrection.

The “not really competitive”!!!!!! game of bubble soccer, where screams of joy and excitement echoed across the lake, by the players and the sideline aficionados, was deafening and a competition in itself.

Worship that was “off the hook”, great spiritual truths from the Word.

Added to this, was time for fishing and the OOOHHHS and AHHHHS of the one that got away, great hay rides, and simply relaxing and taking in some good ole vitamin D.

OH well our hearts are full, our beds are beckoning, as we arrive safely home.

I dare you to c’mon out to join in the Bridge Family Camp

Until 2023……
