The Almighty

I remember the controversy that assaulted the movie, “Bruce Almighty”, it had many verbal appendages attached to it as heresy, irreligious, hilarious, light hearted etc, etc. I think sometimes we need to step back from Pharisaical thinking, and not take ourselves so seriously. A time of mindless escapism into lala land for a moment in time, to raise the levels of endorphins in your body, which bodes well for us earthlings.

We of course know, that there is only one Almighty, there is only one true God and His name is not Bruce !!!, it is ” I am” or ” I will be who I will be”, He is, was and will be… God Almighty

Rev 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I feel like Paul as we kneel before and pray; Abba Father give us a deeper revelation of a high view of yourself, we have taken your name as ours; You who are, who was and who will be. I expect that every time we declare “ Behold Our God”, that there is a sense of awe about these words as they tumble out of our mouths directly from our hearts and ignite a flame in and around us, and we are brought to our knees.

He is God Almighty; the overseer of all things, who finds deep pleasure in his son, the savior of the world. We too as sons and daughters are becoming more like Jesus

2 Cor 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.

We His adopted children have the same benefit and pleasure from our father, his grace to us is eternal. When we declare– “Behold Your God”, what Amazing Grace, this is through his son Jesus.

Be encouraged to delve into the mysteries of God Almighty, a deeper insight and relationship with our father, and of course don’t take yourself so seriously, it’s not about you, it’s all about Him.
