Bridge Builders for the Kingdom

When we look at bridges we see the magnificence of structure, architecture, and engineering. We see the beautiful designs and man’s ingenuity in constructing bridges that cross divides to connect peoples and commerce. We name bridges after those that have paved the way , or from a place of some significant meaning.

When Jesus declared “I am the Way”, he built a bridge over the greatest divide in history, and laid himself across that chasm, bridging the way between heaven and earth. The Bridge has many names in connecting us with the Father. One name is “Reconciliation” bridge; it is what he has given to us to bridge the gap, a ministry of Reconciliation.

Our ethos in Engage, Equip, Empower, Extend and Encounter God, is all part of our bridge building into our community. Let us build together to Extend the Kingdom of God, as Christ built a bridge let us follow his example and build bridges into our community. Let us also be the Bridge to our community.
