We often quote and know that God’s ways are not our ways, yet we unconsciously march to the beat of our own drum. As David cried out “make me to know your ways”—what an open handed, submitted plea; here I am God, “make me” to know your ways. As we seek God’s Ways, let us be encouraged to fully submit ourselves in total abandonment to any other drum beat, except the one that comes from the throne of God.
God is ever near, willing, and able to hear our voice and to answer our cry. He has already given us access to Himself through His son Jesus. We have been redeemed from the curse; we live ransomed from the futile ways of our forefathers. He has sent us the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth.
Let us take hold of this. Thank you Father—make us to know your ways.
