Our Vision & Values
At The Bridge our heart and mission is to connect all people to encounter God’s Word & Spirit.
We are passionate about the living, breathing and active Word of God and the transforming power His truth has on our lives. We love to see the miraculous works of the Holy Spirit, moving today, leading us into deeper encounters in His Presence which leave us forever changed.
We have five core values (E-Grace values) which guide us in our mission to connect all people to encounter God’s Word & Spirit…
Ex. 33:15 “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here.”
At The Bridge we are a people who desire to encounter God, and revel in His presence in every aspect of our daily walk with him. His presence in our lives is paramount, through His word, in prayer, in worship and prophetically by His Holy Spirit.
Gen. 1:26 “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
God is an engaging Spirit. From the Garden of Eden to today He has engaged mankind. Our mandate through Matthew 28, is to engage all people from all walks of life. Not just Christians. As a bridge to our community we want to engage people at every level, to reveal the Father’s heart to them.
Eph. 4:11 “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry…”
As part of our vision at The Bridge, we desire to see a “Priesthood of Believers”, equipped for the work of the ministry, wherever your ministry or harvest field may be. As a Priesthood we are all ministers of the Gospel, and God has called us to serve and be a blessing to those around us.
Whenever God has a plan, he has a person for that plan. We envision empowering people to be leaders wherever God has placed them. In business, in schools, in the church and beyond. Our desire is to see men, women and children fulfill God’s call upon their lives.
Acts 1:8 “Jesus said, ‘You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Jesus’s heartbeat was “to the ends of the earth”, not a small vision but a big one. We are meant to be global thinkers. Our starting point is to extend God’s kingdom to our neighbors, family, and to the local church.
However, we don’t want to stop there. Our heart is to not only build bridges to our community, but to the surrounding areas and beyond, touching foreign shores. We want to make Jesus famous in every nation, in every city, town, village everywhere.
