We believe

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.

…In their original writing, as fully inspired of God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and — 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13

In one God, eternally existing in three Persons.

…Father, Son and Holy Spirit. — Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians13:14

Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father.

…Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man, and is the Saviour of humanity. — Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6

God created man in His own image.

…That man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of sin which is death physically and spiritually; that all human beings inherit a sinful nature which issues (in the case of those who reach moral responsibility) in actual transgression involving personal guilt. — Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12,18

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins.

…In a substitutionary sacrifice. He was buried and then resurrected on the third day appearing to his disciples, according to the scriptures and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. — 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25, Romans 5:12, 18

In the salvation of all who repent of their sins.

…And receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by faith, through grace, in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus Christ who was crucified and resurrected, by which forgiveness of sins is granted. — Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22; Romans 5:11

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

…Empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We believe in the divinely ordained ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher and expect them to be a regular part of Church life. — John 16:13; Ephesians 4:7; Romans 12:6; Galatians 5:22

In the principle of being in authority.

…With regards to submission to authority. As such, we believe a strong relationship with the NCMI team will serve to ensure oversight in matters pertaining to church governance, doctrine and personal behavior. — Matthew 8:5-9

In the resurrection of both the just and the unjust.

…The eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation. — John 5:24; John 3:16; Mark 9:34-50; 2 Thessalonians 1:9

Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel today.

…And was provided for in the Old and New Testaments. — Mark 16:16-18; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14-15

The one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ.

…And regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church on earth should take its character from this concept of the church spiritual and therefore that the new birth and personal confession of Christ are essentials of church membership.

The Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances, baptism in water and the Lord’s Supper.

…To be observed as acts of obedience and as a perpetual witnesses to the cardinal facts of the Christian faith;
That baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as a confession of identification with Christ in burial and resurrection. The the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the emblems symbolic of the Savior’s broken body and shed blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death, until He comes. — Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37 -41; Acts 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 11:28 -32

The ascended Christ has given various ministries or ministers to the Church.

…In order to bring all believers to the place of Christian maturity in the understanding of truth, and the performance and function of the ministry. — Ephesians 4:11; Romans 12: 4 -8; 1 Corinthians 12:10

God never removed the gifts of the Holy Spirit from the Church.

…And that the Scriptural commands to “seek earnestly the best gifts”, and to “forbid not to speak in tongues”, are still applicable today — 1 Corinthians 12, 13 & 14; Corinthians 14:1-39
